In February 2023 DOC mobilised the 5500t carousel for DB-Schenker. The carousel was mobilised from the DOC yard in Vlissingen and transported to IJmuiden by barge. In IJmuiden the same 1800t sheerleg as used in Vlissingen, lifted the carousel on deck of a flat deck carrier. The carousel is used to transport umbilicals from the US to Abu Dhabi. Project duration of approx. 200 days.
