Because of the vast experience with semi-submersible vessels and a long history with the Fjord, we were asked to get involved in the salvage operation of Koole. Our team of engineers managed to assist in stability calculations for the float-on operation. Because of the size and the weight it was all on the limits. Our superintendent executed the float-on operation with success. By managing the ballasting operation, controlling the vessel and communication with all the tug boats the operation was a success.
