The big jacket lifting frame of Allseas Pioneering Spirit had to demobilise after the trials. The DOC Carrier had the capacity to carry the heavy modular pieces of the frame and was therefore chartered for this project.
The complete duration of the project was about 4 months and several times our ballast engineers had to assist with ballasting of the barge. These operations were in port as well as offshore as the Pioneering Spirit was located at the Shetland Islands, Schotland.
