For this project we mobilized a full cable transport spread, consisting of a 5500 ton carousel, 10 ton deck tensioner, loading tower, tower tensioner and chute. DOC took care of the full mobilization of the flat deck carrier in Vlissingen, using a 1800 ton sheerleg to lift on the carousel.
After commissioning, the vessel sailed to Pikkala to pick-up cables with destination Eemshaven. After discharging, all equipment was offloaded and demobilized at the DOC terminal in Vlissingen.
